Triple M Sydney Tower Run-Up 2010
Challenge yourself and climb a Sydney icon - take on the Sydney Tower Run-Up!
The annual Sydney Tower Run-Up is one of Sydney's most high profile charity fundraising events and attracts hundred of runners each year, all vying to get to the top of the 1,504 stairs in the fastest time!
The 2010 race will take place on Friday 23rd July 2010 - register now at www.sydneytowerrunup.com.au
Competitors race from Pitt Street Mall up the 1,504 stairs to the Observation Deck of Sydney Tower to compete for a total prize pool of more than $25,000.
In 2009 the average stair climber reached the summit in less than 15 minutes. In fact, every participant in last year’s race made it to the top in under half an hour! So challenge yourself and be rewarded with the best view in Australia once you reach the top – all in the time it would take you to get a coffee.
This year there is a new fancy dress category. So get out your best wig, your Speedos or your super hero costume to join in the fun.
Proceeds from the Triple M Sydney Tower Run-Up are donated to Surf Life Saving, helping to make Australia’s 35,000 km of coastlines safer by preventing drowning and saving lives. Get fit, have fun and raise money for a good cause!
